Got the picture? That\u2019s what Invincible\u2019s life is like these days. He always knew that his father, Omni\u2013Man, was an alien, but dad\u2019s mission may not be as benign as was once believed. Is he living a lie? It\u2019s more as if he\u2019s not living the whole truth.<\/p>\n
Kirkman takes tired stereotypes about archetypes and turns them on their ear. Invincible is one of the more enjoyable comics on the stands: New readers can enjoy it, but comics aficionados will find plenty of in\u2013jokes to enhance the experience. Witness the various familiar detectives, as well as a bald\u2013headed comics creator who reuses panels for \u201cdramatic effect.\u201d<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s hoping that Invincible will keep on delivering for a long time to come.<\/p>\n
