Back in 1958, the FBI had a problem. President Eisenhower had been kidnapped by a mysterious Oriental villain known only as the Yellow Claw. Top agent Jimmy Woo pulled together a unique team of heroes made up of Marvel Boy, Venus, M-11 The Human Robot, and Gorilla Man to rescue the head of the nation. Mission accomplished, the team only worked together for six months before each went their separate ways.
Almost fifty years later, S.H.I.E.L.D. sub-director Woo formed a secret strike force to infiltrate The Atlas Foundation and was the only survivor—barely. Next to his dying body lay the photograph of the his original 1958 team.
Some of Marvel’s greatest heroes of the fifties are brought back in a modern retro story of good guys against horrendous villains and a team begins to reunite as Gorilla Man & M-11 rescue Jimmy Woo with the help of Marvel Boy. Jimmy is regenerated as a younger-looking self, but missing vital memories as to why he sponsored a Black Ops operation into Atlas. Looks like the old gang is getting back together anyway they can, and for the very best of reasons.
