Rocketo posthumously recounts the adventures of Rocketo Garrison, a legendary explorer who lived on Earth two thousand years after a geologic cataclysm called the Great Shattering reconfigured the planet’s surface and left the world without a magnetic field. Part of a genetically-engineered breed of men called mappers, Rocketo possesses inborn directional sense and an innate connectedness to the planet itself. Political conflict and global power strives draw Rocketo into world events while he struggled to uphold the mapper’s oath: “Let your light be a guide to explore this shattered world and lift the eyes of men to the stars and beyond.”

Created by Frank Espinosa, the Warner Brothers animator who designed and illustrated the Looney Toons postage stamps issued by the United States Postal Service in the 1990s, Rocketo features bright colors and fluid line continuity.
